6 years agoCharles Howell III will tee it up at this week’s Northern Trust. Howell is currently 47th in the FedEx Cup standings, which leaves him in with a realistic opportunity of ending his season at the season finale in Atlanta. Howell, however, will need to improve on recent showings. The American missed the cut at the Open Championship before finishing T71 at the PGA Championship. Over his previous 24 rounds, Howell has struggled on the greens, and the American sits 87th in this week’s field for strokes gained putting over this period.--Gianni
