6 years agoHaving enjoyed an excellent U.S. Open in 2017 where he recorded a top-10 finish, Charley Hoffman will be hoping to capture some of the magic from that performance this week at Shinnecock Hills as he looks to rescue what has been a disappointing year thus far. Hoffman has missed two of his last three cuts and has struggled particularly with his irons in this period. The Californian ranks 99th in this field for strokes gained approaching the green for his previous 12 rounds, while he sits 87th in ball striking over the same period.--Gianni
