6 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon had another great day at the plate on Sunday, hitting 2-for-3 with two towering home runs, three RBI, and a walk in the 10-7 win at Coors Field. His bombs were absolute moon shots that each eclipsed 450 feet, and they both came off of Padres starter Nick Margevicius. He now has five home runs in his last 10 games played, and his season slash line sits at .305/.368/.573 with eight home runs, 25 RBI, 29 runs scored, and two steals. Blackmon started the season a bit slowly, but is now showing plenty of life and is resembling the valuable fantasy asset we've come to expect over the past few seasons. He's a firm hold considering his current form, expected rest-of-year production, and solidified starting role in the friendly confines of Coors Field.--Kyle Ringstad - RotoBaller
