6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward/center Cheick Diallo benefited from the absence of Anthony Davis during Wednesday’s win over the Chicago Bulls, pouring in a season-high 18 points during 23 minutes off the bench. His performance marks his third consecutive contest scoring in double figures, also adding nine rebounds Wednesday to go along with his 7-for-8 shooting. With Davis remaining in New Orleans past the Trade Deadline, Diallo is likely to move back to a deep bench role for Friday’s game versus Minnesota, essentially taking him out of fantasy consideration when factoring in the emergence of Jahlil Okafor.--Jesse Borek
