Chicago Lists Patrick Williams As Probable Starter Wednesday
4 years agoChicago Bulls small/power forward Patrick Williams took first-team reps during Tuesday's practice and has since been listed as a starter among the team's game notes for Wednesday's contest versus Atlanta. Williams was selected with the fourth overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and has quickly ascended the depth chart due to his impressive athleticism. The move comes as somewhat of a surprise despite the fact that he has started the past two preseason games as Williams came solely off the bench during his lone season at Florida State, in which he averaged just 9.2 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. For now, he's an appealing DFS option against a high-octane Hawks unit. Should he click among the starting five, he'll draw season-long appeal as the year moves along.
