4 years agoMay was just not kind to Chris Kirk as he played at the Valspar and then the PGA Championship. He missed the cut both times and it was not all that close either (missed by three strokes at the PGA). This week at the Charles Schwab might be good for Kirk as the course is a little better tailored for how he plays. His accuracy with his driver and woods is probably among the top 20 or 25 on the tour. It is why he ranks 30th in overall strokes gained at 1.101. Kirk hits enough shots this week to likely see the weekend. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
