Chris Paul Drops Season-High 31 Points During Defeat
5 years agoOklahoma City Thunder point guard Chris Paul was clicking on all cylinders during Tuesday’s loss to the San Antonio Spurs, shooting 12-for-18 from the floor en route to a season-best 31-point showing. He was particularly aggressive from behind the arc, shooting 5-for-9, also setting a season high in three-point attempts. In addition to the scoring, he led the team with seven assists across a team-best 34 minutes, also pitching in two rebounds. He closed out the first half by hitting the 20-point mark in four of his last five games, with his role on the Thunder leading to his 10th career All-Star Game appearance later this weekend.
