Chris Paul Logs Only 22 Minutes in Rockets Win
7 years agoHouston Rockets point guard Chris Paul played only 22 minutes on Friday in a 130-104 win over Denver. He missed all four of his treys but still managed to score in double figures with 11 points, shooting 3-for-8 and being perfect from the line with his five attempts. Paul also had seven assists and two steals with no turnovers. There wasn't any news of an injury, so we can believe that head coach Mike D'Antoni simply decided to limit Paul's minutes with the game basically being over already within the first 24 minutes. Paul should be good to go on Sunday against Dallas, who have allowed the most points in the league to opposing point guards this season.
