3 years agoPhoenix Suns guard Chris Paul is reportedly drawing interest from the Lakers heading into the 2021-22 campaign. The veteran, who could decline a $44.2 million player option to become a free agent, arguably had his best season to date, finishing with 16.4 points, 8.9 assists, and 1.4 steals while shooting nearly 40 percent from deep to lead the Suns to the NBA Finals. While a sign-and-trade deal involving Dennis Schroder, Kyle Kuzma, and Talen Horton-Tucker could be the most likely scenario necessitated to acquire Paul's services, there is still a good chance he remains with his current team. Depending on where the 36-year-old ends up, he could see a decrease on the scoring end.
