Chris Paul Quiet Versus Boston
7 years agoHouston Rockets point guard Chris Paul had a second consecutive quiet outing on Saturday, as he finished with just 15 points on 5-for-11 shooting and seven assists against Boston. He was in foul trouble but still ended up playing 35 minutes, so the lack of minutes clearly wasn't the issue. Paul hasn't reached double figures in assists for over a month, and getting 20-plus points has also become rare with him. He'll face Russell Westbrook and the Thunder on Tuesday, so getting back on track in the next game won't be easy either. Or maybe he's actually just been saving himself for the meeting with the reigning MVP.
