3 years agoPhoenix Suns guard Chris Paul is unlikely to play on Sunday against the Clippers for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. Despite being vaccinated, the veteran tested positive for COVID-19 a day after the team completed its sweep of the Nuggets in the previous round. While Paul isn't expected to miss much time beyond the series opener, his absence is not good news for a club looking to make some noise this postseason. Without the 11x All-Star, Cameron Payne will probably slide into his place, with the 26-year-old averaging 19 points throughout 27 minutes during his lone start on the year.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
