2 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Chris Sale (ribs) is inching closer and closer to making his 2022 debut. According to Christopher Smith of MassLive.com, the southpaw is expected to make at least one more rehab start. His next rehab outing is expected to be at Triple-A Worcester next week. Sale made his first two rehab starts at the Florida Complex League, then pitched at Double-A Portland this past Thursday. In his Double-A start, he threw four innings and allowed four hits, no walks and one earned run while striking out seven. Assuming he has no setbacks, he should be in the majors by mid-July. Make sure he isn't still floating around on the waiver wire in any of your leagues.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
