4 years agoHouston Rockets forward/center Christian Wood missed only two of his 13 shots and went 3-for-4 from three-point land on his way to a game-high 27 points in Saturday's 126-112 win over New Orleans, He narrowly missed a double-double by finishing with nine rebounds and had one steal and one block on the defensive end. Wood, who was with the Pelicans in 2018-19, admitted after the game that he wanted to prove a point against his former team and he certainly did it. The 25-year-old is on his way to becoming a star in the league and he'll showcase his talent next in a back-to-back set against the Thunder, who have struggled against opposing bigs this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
