3 years agoHouston Rockets center Christian Wood (illness) and power forward Jae'Sean Tate (ankle) have been deemed questionable to suit up for Wednesday's game vs. the Lakers. Wood missed Monday's outing due an illness, having previously ripped off double-doubles in two straight contests. Tate has been a staple of Houston's starting five, but he has seen his minutes dip over the past five games (21.4 on a nightly basis), damaging his fantasy appeal. Alperen Sengun and Kenyon Martin Jr. would both stand for elevated roles if either Wood or Tate is ultimately held out, while Kevin Porter Jr. and Jalen Green could see even more offensive usage funneled in their direction if Wood remains sidelined.
