6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward Christian Wood collected the first double-double of his professional career during Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. Wood continued his emergence with 15 points and 11 rebounds across 27 minutes, finishing 5-for-13 from the floor. After having set new career highs in scoring in each of his previous two outings, Wood continues to see significant run with Anthony Davis out of the equation. The Pelicans have just four games remaining in their season, but Wood is likely worth the add and DFS look, as New Orleans seems comfortable both with giving him run off the bench and finding ways to shirk the NBA in order to get Davis in street clothes.--Jesse Borek
