5 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward Christian Wood made it three double-doubles in four games on Tuesday, finishing a 115-98 loss to Denver with 20 points and 10 rebounds. He shot 7-for-16 from the field and 6-for-8 at the line, adding one steal and one block on the defensive end. With Blake Griffin (knee) injured and Andre Drummond out of town, Wood has become Detroit's leading frontcourt player, and he's put up some really nice numbers. The 24-year-old forward is averaging 19.3 points and nine rebounds in 30.8 minutes this month on 52.3 percent shooting. He'll face the Suns next, against whom he had a 21-point, eight-rebound performance at the start of the month.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
