3 years agoHouston Rockets center Christian Wood shot just 5-for-16 from the field against Brooklyn on Wednesday, but he tallied a solid 12-point, 15-rebound double-double and also helped his side to victory with three blocks. Five of Wood's misses came with six attempts from downtown. He completed his line with three assists, one steal and one turnover in 34 minutes. Wood has notched five double-doubles during Houston's seven-game winning streak. He had a horrible night from downtown against the Nets, but the 26-year-old is actually shooting 42 percent from deep this month, and he'll be playing with something to prove next time out, as Houston hosts Wood's former team, the Bucks.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
