4 years agoHouston Rockets forward/center Christian Wood showed that there is life after James Harden in H-Town, picking up 27 points, 15 rebounds, and three blocks in a 109-105 win over San Antonio. He shot a very solid 10-for-18 from the field and after so far struggling from downtown as a Rocket, Wood found his range from deep with an outstanding 5-for-7 effort. The 25-year-old is averaging a double-double with 23.1 points and 10.1 rebounds per game, and he's clearly the favorite for the Most Improved Player Award. Wood and the Rockets have a rematch vs. the Spurs on Saturday, before heading to Chicago to play the Bulls, who have the league's second-worst defense.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
