4 years agoHouston Rockets forward/center Christian Wood (ankle) has been upgraded to doubtful Tuesday against the Atlanta Hawks. Not the best news, but this is a start as it has been six weeks since Wood has been listed something other than "out" on the injury report. The Rockets have been saying Wood is nearing a return and the small upgrade indicates Wood should be back within the next week or so. In the meantime, with P.J. Tucker away from the team as they determine his future, Justin Patton has been starting and is worth a flyer for managers in need of a shot-blocking center who can knock down threes here and there.--Dale Johnson - RotoBaller
