5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum cooled off statistically on Wednesday as his All-Star teammate Damian Lillard returned to the court. In the six games that Dame missed, McCollum averaged 33.3 points, 8.3 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 4.3 made three-pointers, and it would've been unreasonable to expect that form to continue with a player like Lillard back in the lineup. McCollum finished Wednesday's win over the Washington Wizards with 22 points, six rebounds, five assists and one block in 33 minutes. Look for the seventh-year guard to continue producing top-12 value at his position for the remainder of the season, and owners should be happy that the six-game hot streak happened at all.--Euan Leith
