5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum scored 35 points in a loss to the Hawks on Saturday, shooting 14 of 26 from the field to go with five rebounds, five assists, three three-pointers and two steals. McCollum has been doing everything he can to help keep Portland in the playoff picture, averaging 31.8 points, 9.0 assists and 5.4 rebounds since Damian Lillard went down with an injury. Unfortunately, the Blazers are just 1-6 in games without their All-Star point guard. The NBA world certainly want to see one of the game's best back on the court, but those with McCollum on their fantasy squads are more than content to see Lillard on the pine given what McCollum has essentially been asked to do in his absence.--Daniel Lubofsky - RotoBaller
