6 years agoHouston Rockets center Clint Capela dominated the paint once again in Thursday night's overtime victory over the Warriors. The 6-foot-10 big man scored 29 points, grabbed 21 (nine offensive) rebounds, doled out an assist, blocked a shot and came up with two steals. He was 12-for-19 from the field and 5-for-5 from the free throw line. 18 of his shots were taken within 10 feet of the basket as were all of his makes. It was his 26th double-double and second 20-20 game of the campaign. The Switzerland native will look to extend his streak of making 50 percent of his shots or better to seven straight games against the Trail Blazers on Saturday. Capela is averaging 13.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.5 blocks, and one steal in two games against Portland this year.--Daniel Benjamin
