4 years agoAtlanta Hawks center Clint Capela (heel) has been cleared to play in Friday's game against the 76ers as he works his way through a prolonged heel ailment. After having reeled off a dominant 11-game stretch of double-doubles to begin April, Capela is coming off a quiet nine-point, eight-rebound outing versus Philadelphia on Wednesday that was as much a byproduct of the nature of the 44-point loss as anything. Still possessing a sizable lead in the race for league's top rebounding honors, Capela will draw a stiff matchup with Joel Embiid on Friday, but this season in particular, his availability has proven to outweigh his one-on-one showdowns.--Jesse Borek
