Clint Capela Records First Career Triple-Double
4 years agoAtlanta Hawks center Clint Capela has never been a likely candidate to log a triple-double, but he did so for the first time in his career during Friday's win over Minnesota with 13 points, 19 rebounds, and 10 blocks across 30 minutes. Capela entered the night averaging just 1.7 blocks per contest this season, but he had been on a recent spate of swatting, having stacked up 12 in his last three games. Having gone for a gaudy 27 points and 26 boards his last time out, it's fair to say that the last four contests have propelled Capela into the upper echelon of fantasy centers for the time being, any free-throw shooting concerns notwithstanding. With six straight double-doubles under his belt, he next takes the floor Sunday against Milwaukee, facing off with fellow shot blocking threat Brook Lopez.
