Clint Capela Sitting Against Miami
3 years agoAtlanta Hawks center Clint Capela (Achilles) won't play on Monday evening against the Heat. The 27-year-old is in danger of missing the start of the regular season as he continues to work his way back from a chronic Achilles issue. A week ago, he received a platelet-rich plasma injection. Still, the team will remain cautious with the big man moving ahead, which is sensible considering his statistical contributions over the years. Onyeka Okongwu (shoulder), who will be entering his second year in the league, is also anticipated to be out until December. As a result, the Hawks will have a massive void underneath the basket for the preseason opener, which will be filled partly by Gorgui Dieng, who will start against Miami.
