Cody Bellinger Dealing With Sore Knee
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman Cody Bellinger (knee) was removed from the game Wednesday after two at-bats. Manager Dave Roberts said the move was precautionary to preserve Bellinger for a four-game weekend series at Colorado. Bellinger has been dealing with a sore knee patella tendon and sat out Tuesday's game before today's early exit. The injury is something for fantasy owners to monitor, but it sounds like Bellinger should be able to avoid the Injured List. The NL MVP candidate has 25 home runs and 62 RBI and is second in the league with a 1.152 OPS. Fantasy owners can only hope the midweek rest means Bellinger can play this weekend with four games in Coors Field.
