Cody Bellinger Extends Hitting Streak To Seven
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger went 2-for-5 with a pair of two-run home runs in Wednesday's victory versus the Philadelphia Phillies. Bellinger has been having a disappointing season, but he is finally starting to turn the corner and has now hit the ball in seven consecutive games with four homers during that span. Manager Dave Roberts said last week that Bellinger would mostly play against right-handers, but with Bellinger heating up and outfielder Mookie Betts (hip) on the injured list, Bellinger should remain in the lineup for now. Bellinger is now hitting .183 with nine home runs and 28 RBI.
