6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman Cody Bellinger had a loud impact in Friday's 5-2 win over the Mets, going 1-for-4 with a grand slam. Bellinger destroyed a sixth-inning Zack Wheeler fastball into the second deck in left field to plate four. Despite the exciting display Friday, Bellinger has been disappointing for fantasy owners this season, posting a .232/.323/.459 slash line with 13 home runs and 36 RBI in 297 plate appearances. His batted-ball profile could help explain his decline this season; his hard contact rate (37.2 percent versus 43 percent) and HR/FB rate (15.4 percent versus 25.2 percent) are down and his infield fly-ball rate is up significantly (15.4 percent versus 8.4 percent).
