4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger (lat) was held out of Tuesday’s lineup with a sore lat and is day-to-day. Bellinger reportedly suffered the injury while hitting in the batting cage, and it seems unlikely to cost him more than one or two games going forward. Bellinger had fallen back down to earth after his tremendous 2019 season with a .783 OPS over his first 35 games this season, but he’d been heating up with six home runs and a 1.291 OPS over his last 11 games and is likely to post an OPS above .900 over the rest of the season. Fantasy players should expect Bellinger to get back into the lineup sooner rather than later and continue hitting well through the rest of the season.--Sam Chinitz
