4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman/outfielder Cody Bellinger (leg) will take on-field batting practice on Thursday. This comes after Bellinger was able to take some swings and jog lightly on Monday, so he's progressing along well so far. The slugger remains without a timetable for his return, though he noted that once the swelling and bruising goes away around his fracture, he'll be good to go. Zach McKinstry has been the big winner with Bellinger sidelined, as he has four extra-base hits and nine RBI since stepping into a larger role.--Tim Capurso
