4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger (leg) will begin his rehab assignment at Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday. Manager Dave Roberts said that he's not sure how long Bellinger will be on his rehab assignment, but it's encouraging news that Bellinger's return is near. Bellinger has been out since April 5 with a hairline fracture in his left fibula and it's likely that he will need more than the weekend to shake off the rust. Bellinger was hitting .211 in 19 at-bats, but he is one of the best offensive options when he is healthy and near the top of a loaded Dodgers lineup. Bellinger's return would mean less playing time for guys like Albert Pujols, Matt Beaty and Yoshitomo Tsutsugo.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
