2 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Cody Zeller (knee) has cleared the league's health and safety protocols and will be active for Friday's contest against the Cavaliers. Zeller last appeared Dec. 6, battling both a knee ailment and COVID-19 in the time since. The veteran has provided solid, if unspectacular, production among the second unit, scoring in double figures just twice across his first 24 games. With Jusuf Nurkic holding down the starting center spot for the time being, Zeller can remain on the waiver wire in nearly all season-long formats, although his return aides the Portland frontcourt with Larry Nance Jr. (knee) still sidelined.--Jesse Borek
