Cole Anthony Unavailable For Friday’s Game
3 years agoOrlando Magic point guard Cole Anthony (ankle) will not suit up for Friday's contest against the Heat due to a sprained right ankle. Anthony has been the engine for Orlando's offense thus far in 2021-22, averaging 19.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per contest. Anthony's absence should open the door for Mychal Mulder to step into a sizable backcourt role, making him a DFS target due to his low price tag. With Anthony out, Franz Wagner and Wendell Carter Jr. should see even higher offensive usage, as the Magic are one of many teams battling multiple absences under the health and safety protocols. Anthony's next chance to suit up comes Saturday vs. Brooklyn.
