7 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Cole Hamels faces the prospect of a rough outing Monday. In six career starts against Cleveland, Hamels has a 6.11 ERA in 35 1/3 innings with just 26 strikeouts. The outlook is not any better if you look at how he has fared in Cleveland. Across 16 1/3 innings at Progressive Field, he has given up 16 earned runs with just 10 strikeouts. In addition, Hamels has struggled so far in 2018, where he has a 4.41 ERA in 34 2/3 innings. Hamels is a pitcher who you should avoid starting where possible on Monday.--Ben Rolfe
