5 years agoCleveland Cavaliers point/shooting guard Collin Sexton recorded a team-high 29 points during Thursday’s loss to the Washington Wizards, his fourth time reaching the 25-point plateau in his last five games. Sexton shot 10-for-15 from the field, drilling both threes that he attempted and adding four rebounds, four assists and two steals to his stat line. With Cleveland’s playoff chances slim, Sexton’s continued development remains paramount for the organization over the season’s final two and a half months, which should provide ample opportunity for the second-year guard to pack the stat sheet in a similar manner to the way that he did Thursday.--Jesse Borek
