Collin Sexton Continues Torrid Scoring Pace In Loss
6 years agoCleveland Cavaliers point guard Collin Sexton went for 24 points across a game-high 39 minutes during Tuesday’s loss to the Boston Celtics. The Cavaliers’ rookie has been scoring at will in the month of March, averaging 22.4 points per game, while shooting 51.2 percent overall, including 46.6 percent from deep. Following Tuesday’s effort, he has now reeled off 20 points or better in nine of his last 10 outings. He next faces the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday, who have been strong as a defensive whole this season, but have been susceptible to allowing fantasy points to opposing point guards and there are few hotter scoring the ball currently than Sexton.
