6 years agoCleveland Cavaliers point guard Collin Sexton tied his career high with three made triples during Tuesday’s loss to the Boston Celtics, which saw him finish with 27 points. The 24 shot attempts (11 of which were made) that Sexton put up set a new career-best, taking on expanded offensive duties with Rodney Hood having been dealt to Portland. Sexton also added four rebounds, three assists and two steals to his line, turning in one of the best outings of his young career. He figures to remain arguably the top component of Cleveland’s development over the final months of the season, looking to take advantages of match-ups like Friday versus the Washington Wizards, who have allowed the third-most fantasy points per game this season to opposing point guards.--Jesse Borek
