4 years agoCleveland Cavaliers point guard Collin Sexton had a nice bounce-back game on Friday, following up a four-point effort with a 25-point performance in a 129-110 loss to Portland. He shot 8-for-16 from the field and 8-for-9 at the foul line, adding five assists, three rebounds, and a couple of steals with two turnovers in 41 minutes. Sexton has now been Cleveland's top scorer in 15 of 27 games this season. It would be nice if he was also able to fill up the stat sheet more regularly in other categories, but at 22, he's still a developing player. Sexton will go up against the Clippers next on Sunday. He had a solid 27-point performance on 52 percent shooting in the matchup on Feb. 3, and despite the Clippers' reputation, they are among the poorest defensive teams in the league against the point guard position.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
