3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Connor Joe went 1-for-3 with a walk and two strikeouts in a 7-0 shutout loss to the San Francisco Giants on Thursday. There weren't many highlights for the Rockies in this one as they were blanked by Logan Webb and company. Joe was the only member of the Rockies to reach base twice, with a single and a walk, in the lopsided defeat. The 28-year-old has been leading off ever since Raimel Tapia went to the injured list and should continue to do until the former rejoins the ball club. Joe is slashing a solid .291/.363/.473 with five home runs and 22 RBI over 110 at-bats this season.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
