3 years agoThe Boston Red Sox have recalled right-hander Connor Seabold from Triple-A. He will be the team's starting pitcher for Sunday's game against the Chicago Cubs. Seabold made his first MLB start of 2022 this past Monday against the Toronto Blue Jays. He was absolutely shelled in the outing, pitching 4 2/3 innings and allowing nine hits (including three homers), one walk and seven earned runs. On the bright side, he managed to record seven strikeouts. The 26-year-old has pitched well at Triple-A this year, going 5-1 with a 2.09 ERA and a 0.99 WHIP. We'll see if he can have better luck in a more favorable matchup against the Cubs on Sunday.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
