Corey Brewer To Join Kings On 10-Day Contract
6 years agoSmall forward Corey Brewer is on the heels of having played for the Philadelphia 76ers on a pair of 10-day contracts, but after Philly decided not to extend him a deal for the remainder of the season, Brewer finds himself heading West to join the Sacramento Kings, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The Kings have added Harrison Barnes to the wing, but also subtracted Justin Jackson and Iman Shumpert. Brewer has appeared in seven games this year (three starts) and averaged 7.6 points per contest. Maybe most importantly, he’ll bring a veteran presence for a young Kings squad looking to secure a playoff bid.
