2 years agoIt seems like lately, Corey Connors is in contention everywhere that is not a major. Aside from the mentioned US Open and PGA Championship, the Canadian has finished in the top-21 in those five other tournaments. That includes two tied for sixths as well. He nearly came back to win the Canadian Open with a final round 62 that was one of the best rounds that entire weekend. Connors can play in most conditions, drives the ball 300 yards, and is accurate with the irons and woods. He is 26th in driving accuracy and 5th in greens-in-regulation.
