Corey Connors Tries To Improve At Riviera
3 years agoCorey Connors made the cut last week at the WM Phoenix Open. It was his weekend that dropped him to a tie for 38th. His back nine struggles on the third round snowballed into an uneven final round. Ultimately, Connors wound up with a 72 dropping more strokes. Around the green is his biggest issue in tournaments. He ranks a mere 140th with a -0.102 strokes gained. Furthermore, the scrambling numbers are mostly in the bottom quarter this 2022 season (169th). If he can save a few strokes, that will bode well. If not, then the song remains the same.
