7 years agoOrlando Magic guard D.J. Augustin scored 19 points on 5-for-10 shooting from the field against Los Angeles on Saturday night. He did struggle from behind the arc, going 1-for-6 from that range and also had issues with ball control, turning it over four times in the loss to the playoff-hopeful Clippers. Despite flirting with the possibility of missing Friday’s game against Cleveland and this contest as a result of an ankle issue, the veteran was able to suit up. He does add some fantasy value, but only in leagues with 12 teams or more. He also loses appeal in DFS contests as a result of his timeshare with fellow guard Shelvin Mack, who played 24 minutes and scored 16 points in this one. Regardless, both men will have a tough matchup ahead against the Spurs on Tuesday night, a team that plays at a slow pace and is solid on the defensive end.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
