6 years agoThe Dallas Mavericks have traded the fifth overall pick and a future first-round pick to the Hawks for the third overall pick in this year's NBA Draft, guard Luka Doncic. Doncic, who was thought of by many as the best player in this year's draft class, will play next to Dennis Smith Jr. in a promising Mavericks back court. Doncic is 6-foot-8, is a potentially elite passer and has the potential to become a strong shooter in the NBA despite shooting just 30.9 percent from deep last season for Real Madrid. How fast his shot comes along will greatly impact his fantasy value during his rookie season, but even in a worst-case scenario, he's a strong passer who will score well at the basket and generate steals on the defensive end.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
