5 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook had nine carries for 18 yards in a 27-10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. He added six catches on eight targets for eight yards. Cook was continuously stymied by unrelenting 49ers' defensive front as the Vikings' offensive line was simply overmatched. This was an absolutely miserable ending to what was a great campaign for the third-year back, as he tallied 1,135 yards and 13 rushing touchdowns at 4.5 yards per carry during the regular season. Look for the Vikings to explore extending Cook in the offseason as he proved to be a top-tier back in the rush-heavy offense.--Kyle Ringstad - RotoBaller
