6 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook had another productive outing on Sunday, rushing 16 times for 73 yards and adding three catches on three targets for 35 receiving yards in the 27-9 win over the Detroit Lions. As with the entire offense, Cook started this game slowly as the Lions kicked field goals and the Vikings' drives were stalling fast. However, Cook was force-fed the ball as the Vikings took the lead and looked to salt the clock away, and he did the most with his touches. This is the third straight game in which Cook has averaged 4.2 YPC or better. Cook will face a much stiffer test in Week 17 against the top-tier defense of the Chicago Bears - consider him a mid-range RB2 for that contest.--Kyle Ringstad - RotoBaller
