Dalvin Cook Productive in Loss
6 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook rushed for 84 yards on nine carries (9.3 yards per carry) in Week 13's loss to the New England Patriots. He also caught 8-of-10 targets for 22 yards, with the eight catches representing a new career-high for the second-year back. Cook showed off his quick burst and playmaking ability in this game, though negative game-script hurt his ability to produce in the second half. He out-touched Latavius Murray 17-6, so fantasy owners can have confidence in his role as the starting running back moving forward. Roll out Cook as a upper-tier RB2 for next week's matchup versus the Seattle Seahawks.
