Dalvin Cook Remains A High-End RB1 Against Cowboys
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook had 116 scrimmage yards and four catches in Week 9, but it was a bit of a disappointing game given the extremely forgiving matchup. The Cowboys Defense await in Week 10, a unit that held Saquon Barkley to 28 rushing yards in Week 9 and hasn't given up a big game to a running back not named Aaron Jones all year. However, Cook has been an absolute force all season and it seems likely that the Vikings will feature him heavily with star wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring) on the shelf. Thielen's absence actually enhances Cook's outlook as it increases his expected target share and potential red zone opportunities. Expect Cook to approach at least 20 touches once again and start him as top-tier RB1 in Week 10.
