5 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook carried 23 times for 98 yards and a touchdown in Week 8's win over the Washington Redskins. He also had five catches for 73 receiving yards in what has been an incredible start to his 2019 campaign. With the short week of preparation and without their top wideout Adam Thielen (hamstring), the Vikings leaned on Cook (and Mattison) heavily in the victory. Cook's touchdown was his ninth on the year, which leads the league. Cook and Christian McCaffrey are in a two-man race for fantasy's most valuable back to this point in the season. Start Cook as an RB1 in a mouthwatering matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9.--Kyle Ringstad - RotoBaller
